test review

We went over the test today in class. I definitely should've gotten a better grade than I did because I prepared myself very well for this test. The only thing that is stopping me from doing good is my confidence and test taking skills. These hinder me from succeeding will a lot of my quizzes and tests. I really did know all the answers but I get so nervous before the test that I panic and second guess myself. If someone were to quiz me on it I would more than most likely get them all right, but when I know this could affect my grade I start to panic and not do too well. Like on this for example. I honestly really do hate this class with a burning passion.

test today

We had a test today on the five major religions. I think I did pretty good on it because I prepared myself well enough for it. It was really just memorization which I'm pretty good at. I make sure I study the night before and a little bit in the morning then I'm good to go for the test or quiz. I also knew a lot about the religions so I didn't need to study as hard as I would normally for any other test or quiz. Since I cam from a Catholic private school we had to learn about this stuff all the time so this lesson was kind of like a review. I take back what I said lol.

population and population pyramid quiz

So today we went over the population and population pyramid quiz that I was exempted from because I missed the whole lesson to prepare me for the quiz. I think I would have done alright on the quiz but I do not think it would have affected my grade in a positive or negative way. The blog grade issue was also fixed which I am very happy about because I did not think it was fair that I got that grade because I was not even able to go on my laptop. So now that the problem is fixed it brought my low B to a very high B so I now need one more point to have all A's. I will have all A's once I talk to Mrs. Attanasio about giving me an F for not having two tests turned in, like what the heck how do you turn in tests. I was not here to take those tests because I was out for a concussion and in the concussion protocol I am to be excused from things like that. God some teachers are so annoying.

not in class

I was not in class this morning

practicing presenting

So today we presented our developing and post industrial presentation. I'm glad we did it earlier so we could get it over with but I didn't want to be the first group to go because I wanted to see what you would do and expect from us. I was the first person to read off of the slide since I did the economical problem for Cuba. I think I did pretty good with presenting and answering your questions. I felt like I talked at a good pitch, talked slowly, went into descriptions so the audience understood, had good posture, and good body language. I think I answered your questions pretty good as well. I made sure I understood and thought about my answer before I said it so I could answer it correctly. Our presentation itself looks very neat and clean cut so I think we will get a very good grade on both the slides and our presentation.

group project completed

So today we finished our group project and it looks really good. It has a very clean cut finish to it but Chloe, Madison, and I only got to do pictures cause Meghan and Sierra wouldn't really let us do anything else but it's fine I guess. Other than that my day was good but very boring in the beginning of the day. I had bible, bible, the human geo which no offense are kinda boring a bit but after lunch was fine. I had math which I also hate but then had health and English so it wasn't too bad of an afternoon. My two favorite classes are health and English because I have a lot of friends in those classes that I don't usually see during the day. So today was a pretty okay and kind of good day to say the least.

group projects

So today we were assigned a group project. There were team captains that would choose who is in their group and I really like my group. My group consists of Chloe, Sierra, Meghan, and Madison. They are all hardworking and smart which is why I don't mind doing a group project with them even though I don't like them. As long as I have a good group or partner I am fine, I just can't stand when I'm in a group with people that don't do anything so I have to do all the work yet we both get the same grade for the work I did. We are doing the project on Cuba and Russia but we would want to change Cuba for a country that has a water problem because we have some really good ideas on how we can solve that problem. I have a really good feeling about my group, the project, and the grade we will get.

cia world fact book assignment

1. Only 78.2% of America speaks English.  I think it's crazy that not everyone in America doesn't speak English. I think since America is such a diverse country and immigrants are still coming in, that the percentage of people that speak English in America is going to decrease over the years though. For the entire world, the total infant mortality rate is 32/1000 births. I think this is a very large number of people because there are over seven billion people in the world. That is about 224,000,000 infants that die before they reach the age of one. These deaths may include from accidents, illness, or death during labor. The Net Migration Rate of South Korea is 0%. This means that nobody is entering or leaving the country in a year. This country is extremely controlled and monitored so no one can really enter or leave the country. I thought that there would be a lot of emigrants because of the fact that Korea isn't too safe of a country. In South Africa 7,700,000/55,38
